Here is a list of my favorite east valley courses. They may not be the best courses, but I feel I get the most bang for my buck when playing at them.

Kokopelli
Las Colinas
The Foothills(kind of more south than east)
Bear Creek
Gold Canyon Dinosaur Mountain(not cheap but #1 favorite course to play)

I think I have played the Foothills. That was a good track for the money.

Inconsistent. Started out with a 4 putt of all things!!! Ended up with 31 total putts so not too bad. One hole I hit a great drive, duffed a wedge from 105, then holed out the next shot from 60 with the same wedge for birdie. Played the par 5's at 1 under and played the par 3's at 7 over. Ended up shooting 91 on a course I should be shooting 82-85. No consistency at all. At least I was playing so I can't complain too much.
