PostSubject: Swing tempo   Tue Dec 10, 2013 8:45 am

My AP 1 irons are regular graphite 75 gram shafts. Backswing is smooth, but downswing is slightly quicker. Would I benefit by switching to heavier, stiffer shafts? I'm looking for higher launch, tighter dispersion and better stopping on greens. Swing speed with 7 iron is about 76 mph

Even if you have a slower swing speed steel shafts are a better choice. Especially if your rocking ap1's. IMO
