Ive seen people painting these but maybe the all white is alittle over done finally! I have a R11 in my bag and I'm leaning towards a new black driver.

Taylormade won't get rid of the white. It's a signature move for them.

I do like the Matte Black Finish on the Ping I20 Driver.........SUPER SICK!!!

White has run its course, IMHO. It was cool when I was doing it on a putter here and there and you very rarely saw it. But, when TaylorMade grabbed it and went wild, it got old in a hurry.
I would love to see them go back to a black finish. If they go matte, that will just be another finish that they saw somewhere, liked and went with it.
Black just works better for a driver, for me.

Exactly! ^^^^^^^^^

But look at the new Cobra line? They are going to with the 'Apple' idea and trying to offer different colors. Callaway tried this last year but I don't think they marketed it properly. I am sure that Taylormade will use the color ideas in 2013 and push it the right way and it will take off for them. They just use that 'Rockstar' type of marketing and people fall in love with in!

NIKE is going with a shade of RED for 2013, Adams is going white and someone that I can't remember is going with a classy charcoal silver.
Heard all of this from a very reliable source who was at the WigWam on Monday and watched the Golf Digest HOT LIST testing going on.
Some very cool things in the hopper for the big boys.

PS, for those who love the Titleist fairway woods. The 2012 tip adapters will NOT fit in the new 913 FW that will be released in February. THAT one I dealt with, firsthand.
