| you can see in my signature that I don't have any woods. What I'm wondering is since I have better accuracy with the hybrid I have and one my buddy has and the woods I use are another friends and I am all over the place with them but do hit them further in most cases. Would I be able to find some hybrids that I can get the same distance as woods with? Like a 15* hybrid close to the same as a 15* 3 wood or am I better off going with the woods and just learn how to swing the clubs better | |

Most likely not. I am pretty sure A fairway wood will usually get more distance than a hybrid even if they are the same loft. At least stick with a fairway wood that has a loft of14 or 15 degrees. If your having an issue with a fairway wood. Chock down onthe club a little more and see if that helps.

The New issue of Golf Digest(the hot list addition). Has an article that helps explain hybrids vs fairway woods.

| Wilson had a set of woods/hybrids called the Fybrids. They are kind of a cross between the two. It might be an option to try. I had one for a while but it didn't suit my taste. | |

You're a pool player too. Do you play in any of the local leagues? I play Wednesday nights at Skip & Jans in Tempe in the TAP league.

Last year my team was Square Balls. New team started this session with the name of Indecent Exposure. We just qualified for titleholders so hopefully we can keep up the good work.

It's a good way to improve your game, have some fun. I've got a few golf buddies in my pool league now and it's a lot of fun if you hook up with the right bunch of people.
